My artwork is anchored in an enduring fascination with the ocean. I study the California coastline, finding inspiration in the ever-changing ecosystems where land and water converge. The intrigue lies in the act of scouring tide pools and observing the landscape as it shifts and transforms over time.

The rhythms, textures, and changing tides of the shoreline serve as both subject and influence. These elements inform my approach across a range of media. My practice spans charcoal, oil painting, ceramics, and jewelry, allowing me to explore oceanic themes through varied visual languages.

My work often navigates the intersection between representation and abstraction, capturing not only the physical presence of coastal elements but also their atmospheric and emotional resonance. Through layered surfaces, organic forms, and tonal variation, I seek to evoke the full sensory experience of the California coast.
